We sold out our show at Under St. Marks Theater on March 1! That followed a successful run of shows at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Brooklyn Art Haus, and Caveat. Our upcoming show will be at the Players Theatre on April 5 at 9:30 PM. Come out and have a great time!

We showcase topical subjects with sketches that contain broader ideas people face in our time and veer into the absurd and silly because we just love comedy. Our show draws on the strengths of our diverse cast, providing distinctive viewpoints created from unique voices. From political satire to zany character pieces, this show proves to be more than a lateral move.
About our collective: Lateral Move sketch comedy collective’s cast and writers are from across the United States, while being informed by our lives in New York City. We’re a big team with big ideas. We come from diverse ethnicities, gender identities, and sexualities. We are truly a collective, with writers and actors from different backgrounds in comedy and performance including improv, clown and stand-up to showcase the range of our skills. Our team has studied at various comedy schools in New York City including Second City, the Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Upright Citizens Brigade and The PIT, and we have performed in multiple theaters across New York City.
